Kenedna has returned to excellent racing condition this year and remains an outright $3.50 favourite in 2017 Australasian Oaks betting markets with leading online Ladbrokes.com.au.

Taking a few runs to find form upon resuming this time, Kenedna made a successful transition to black type company when she stormed home to win the Group 3 The Vanity (1400m) on February 18th.

Running third in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes (1400m) three weeks later, the Not A Single Doubt will be seeking a third-consecutive race win in the Australasian Oaks after taking out each of the Listed Laelia Stakes (1600m) and Group 3 Auraria Stakes (1800m) at her two most recent starts.

Drawn ideally in barrier 3, Kenedna will be partnered by regular hoop John Allen when she takes her place in the Australasian Oaks field.

Egg Tart is another filly who carries winning form into the feature race and is currently the sole occupant of the second line of 2017 Australasian Oaks betting markets at a $4.20 quote.

Egg Tart was sent to the paddock after posting her first career win at Canterbury in late November, and resumed this time for a smart win in the Total Fabrication Services Plate (1300m) on March 11th.

Repeating the effort in the TAB BM67 (1400m) on April 5th, the daughter of Sebring was last seen savaging the line for a three length triumph in the Auckland Racing Club Trophy (1600m).

Egg Tart could receive the run of the race in the Australasian Oaks from barrier 5 and while undoubtedly facing her biggest career test to date, is worthy of her place in this field and is a live chance.

Interestingly figuring as the only other runner currently available at 2017 Australasian Oaks odds of less-than $10, Toffee Nose ($7) carries great form into the race and is not without a chance of saluting.

Ending her debut campaign fourth in the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on Derby Day, Toffee Nose has failed to finish outside the first three through five starts this time in.

Having run a credible second in the Group 3 Alexandra Stakes (1600m) on March 24th, the Toorak Toff filly was last seen winning the Vobis Gold Reef (2000m) by a length on April 22nd.
