Fontein Ruby ($3.60) has returned to racing in typically slick form this time and remains outright favourite for success in 2015 Australasian Oaks betting markets ahead of Fenway ($4.60) and Delicacy ($8) with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Will Fontein Ruby break-through for a maiden win at the highest level, or will one of her talented rivals find the line in the clear?

Fenway ($4.60)

Fenway has returned to racing in great form this time, is a Group 1 winner over the distance and is positioned well in barrier 6, and is therefore more than worth consideration for a 2015 Australasian Oaks bet at $4.60 odds. Unlucky to finish fourth in each of the Group 3 The Vanity (1400m) and Group 3 Schweppervescence Stakes (1600m) first-up this time, the daughter of High Chaparral took a forward position in the running of the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes on March 28th and maintained an impressive final straight sprint to hit the line in the clear of a talented field. Confirmed to be partnered by last start jockey Blake Shinn, Fenway looks a great chance of winning the Australasian Oaks.

Fontein Ruby ($3.60)

Fontein Ruby is eyeing a third-consecutive race win in the 2015 Australasian Oaks and is sure to receive a gem of a ride from Mark Zahra, from barrier 2. Posted several commendable results over the Spring Carnival including victories in the Group 2 Edward Manifold Stakes (1600m) and Group 3 Caulfield Classic (2000m), the daughter of Turffontein is sure to relish a step-up to 2000m for the 2015 Australasian Oaks and will be tough to beat.

Kansas Sunflower ($21)

Trainer Luke Oliver is yet to saddle a winner at the highest level but is offered a great chance via talented filly Kansas Sunflower, who may only be hindered by her allocation of the awkward outside barrier. Finishing outside the first three only a handful of time through her nine competitive starts, the daughter of Mastercraftsman enters the Australasian Oaks off the back of a strong win in the Denis Walter Afternoons Trophy (1600m) and close second in the Group 3 Auraria Stakes (1800m) on April 18th.
